Aumy Clinic Sync — Privacy Policy

Aumy Clinic Sync (“the extension”) is a tool a dental or medical clinic installs in its own browser to keep its Aumy account up to date with its own records held in Practo Ray.

What the extension accesses

While the clinic’s staff are signed in to Practo Ray (ray.practo.com), the extension reads the clinic’s own appointments, treatments/procedures, invoices, and treatment categories — the same data the staff already see on screen. It reads only the recent window needed for syncing.

What it does with that data

The extension sends the read data to the clinic’s own Aumy account (aumy.aumai.co.in) over an encrypted connection, authenticated by a per-clinic key the clinic pastes into the extension. This keeps the clinic’s Aumy records in sync with Practo. The data belongs to the clinic; Aumy processes it on the clinic’s behalf.

What it does NOT do

• It does not store, transmit, or read the clinic’s Practo password. It uses the staff’s existing Practo session; it never logs in.
• It does not sell, share, or use the data for advertising or any purpose other than syncing to the clinic’s own Aumy account.
• It does not send data to any third party other than the clinic’s Aumy server.
• It does not modify anything in Practo.

Storage

The extension stores only its own settings (the Aumy server URL, the sync key, and sync-window preferences) locally in the browser. No patient data is retained by the extension after a sync.
